This eighth international conference will take place in Geneva on November 28, 2019. It is based on the seven previous conferences organised by the International Catalan Institute for Peace (ICIP) in Barcelona, London and Geneva, which gathered a wide range of academics and NGOs and other practitioners particularly concerned with business, human rights and conflict.
The theme areas for the conference include: The role of business in peacebuilding and conflict affected settings in the regions of Colombia and Liberia, the role of businesses in the conflict in Syria, as well as the emerging research in the “business and peace” field and a UNWG consultation about the role of business in post-conflict settings.
